Choose Dusk to Dawn Sensor for steady light throughout the night: the photocell switches it on at dusk and off at dawn. Choose Motion Sensor for a lower 40% nighttime glow that brightens to 100% when movement is detected. The two models have different visible sensor lenses and slightly different dimensions.
Is the price for one light or a pair? ＋
Each quantity includes one NUVIEL wall light in the selected sensor type, with integrated LEDs and mounting hardware. For a matching pair, order quantity two. Decorative accessories shown in lifestyle images are not included.
How does the Motion Sensor model work? ＋
In Auto mode, the light comes on at 40% brightness at dusk, rises to 100% when movement is detected, and returns to 40% after five minutes without movement. It switches off in daylight. A startup Test mode works during the day or night and changes to Auto mode after approximately two minutes.
Can I keep the Motion Sensor model fully illuminated? ＋
At night, toggle a standard wall switch off and on within 0.5–2 seconds to activate Manual Override. The light remains on for up to eight hours or until dawn, then returns to Auto mode. The wall switch is not included; this function applies to the Motion Sensor model.
Are both models the same size? ＋
Both are 4.7″ (11.9 cm) wide. Dusk to Dawn Sensor is 13.7″ (34.8 cm) high with a 2.4″ (6.1 cm) projection; Motion Sensor is 13.8″ (35.1 cm) high with a 2.5″ (6.4 cm) body projection. Allow 3″ (7.6 cm) overall for the motion sensor lens, and refer to the guide for your selected variant.
Is NUVIEL solar powered or externally dimmable? ＋
NUVIEL is hardwired to 120V AC power and uses integrated LEDs; it does not use a solar panel or replaceable bulb. The Dusk to Dawn Sensor model provides steady nighttime light, while the Motion Sensor model controls its own 40% and 100% brightness levels. External dimmer compatibility is not specified; use a standard on/off wall switch.
How should NUVIEL be installed? ＋
Mount the fixture vertically with the upper housing above the glass, so the glass faces down. Have a qualified electrician complete the hardwired installation and keep the sensor unobstructed. For the Motion Sensor model, the source recommends a mounting height of 5.9–7.2 feet; detection performance depends on the installation and surroundings.

Yes. The aluminum body and glass construction are designed for outdoor wall installations, including entrances, patios and garage exteriors. Follow the installation instructions and ensure the electrical connection is properly protected for the location.
